The bookies see Fulham as clear underdogs at Stamford Bridge this afternoon. Fulham has already annoyed many top teams this season, taking a point from Liverpool and Arsenal and remain unbeaten in eight of the previous nine league games. Chelsea have scored under two goals in two of their last three home games against Fulham and none of their previous nine encounters have featured more than three goals. Just like Fulham, Chelsea ended their last Premier League match with a goalless draw vs Everton. The Toffees did a remarkably good job of keeping Cole Palmer out of the game and limiting the radius of Chelsea's best player. So far, the second-placed team has finished half of its home games with fewer than two goals scored and Fulham has exactly what it takes to increase that rate. Chelsea will face a dangerous opponent at Stamford Bridge who has already upset several top teams in the English top flight. The matchup between the Blues attack and the Fulham defense will be something intetesting to watch. Chelsea have scored more in their away games rather in their home games at Stamford Bridge. |
